What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Supervisor position at Extant Aerospace?
The Position
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Supervisor will be responsible for a team of direct labor employees focused on Safety, Quality, throughput, and culture of a work cell or cells.

Key Accountabilities
- Will oversee an Operations environment supporting Extant Aerospace?s manufacturing facility.
- Support high mix, low volume electronics assembly and test facility
- Lead team through successful development and execution of monthly plans to meet and exceed schedule, revenue, and cost requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, equipment, and subcontractors
- Responsible for establishing optimum utilization of available resources through efficient manpower management
- Utilize data to identify opportunities for improvement in processes
- Implement open communication and continuous improvement
- Support the development of new methods, processes, and equipment and apply them to the manufacturing operation for productivity gains
Minimum Education/Experience
- Bachelor?s Degree, plus a minimum of 2 years experience managing and leading people; or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
- Strong analytical skills required e.g., demonstrated ability to take data from varying sources, analyse, interpret, and use it to make business decisions
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and build a consensus in a high-pressure environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
