Summary Of Responsibilities:
The Resident Manager is a supervisory position and the person selected will act as the liaison between the residents of The Carlton House and Extell Management Services Inc. The Resident Manager shall exercise effective judgment and decision making in the oversight of the daily operations of the building. Daily operations include repairs and maintenance of the property’s equipment; property cleanliness and maintenance; proper planning for any emergency situations to include the monitoring and maintenance of the security, alarm, fire suppression and related systems; coordination with the building retail and garage regarding the repair and maintenance of shared systems and equipment; and the management of satisfactory work performed by vendors and contractors. This position performs regular walk-throughs of the property to identify and address any issues, manages the amenity spaces, orders and distributes supplies, and oversees the coordination of move-ins/outs. The Resident Manager supervises and directs building staff, ensures compliance with company and building policies and procedure and oversees staff training, staff scheduling, and other related payroll and human resources responsibilities. Resident Manager will also be responsible for assisting management in the drafting, finalizing, and monitoring of the annual building budget.
The Resident Manager is required to live on-site, remain available 24 x 7 in case of emergencies, and available to independently resolve any resident or staff-related issues with Extell Management Services and Human Resources.
