We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is crucial in managing guest relations, handling reservations, and supporting the overall operations of our hotel or resort.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Process reservations and maintain accurate records using hotel management software.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain the front desk area in a neat and organized manner.
- Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and relay messages as needed.
- Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrivals.
- Provide multilingual support to enhance guest relations when necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk role or guest services within a hotel or resort environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems is advantageous.
- Strong phone etiquette skills and the ability to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in handling night audits is a plus but not mandatory.
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service and maintaining positive guest relations.
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to accommodate our diverse clientele.
