Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN (Charge Nurse) to join our team at the Eye Surgery Center of Elizabethtown. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Supervising and directing patient care in an individual operating room
- Ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and accreditation standards
- Providing training to new staff members when needed
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Charge Nurse or in a management position
- Prior experience in an Operating Room, Ambulatory Surgery Center, or hospital setting preferred
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Valid Kentucky Registered Nurse (RN) License required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
