What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Front Desk Coordinator and Doctor's Assistant position at eyeQ Optometry?

EyeQ is looking for a dynamic individual to help as an optometric technician and support for our front desk.

Duties:

  • pretesting patients and auxiliary testing (our office has HVF, OCT, Topography)
  • managing patient flow
  • check-in patients
  • prepare schedules, insurance authorizations
  • confirmation notifications
  • recalls
  • scheduling patients

Our ideal candidate:

Experience with an EHR is a huge plus, but not a requirement. Expected schedule is 4-5 days per week and weekend availability is required. We are looking for someone who is positive, engaging, driven and focused. Experience as an optometric technician is not required. We will train the right individual.
