As the Store Manager at Eyewear Junkie, you will oversee all store operations, including managing the team, optimizing sales, delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the store is operating efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Management:
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of eyewear specialists, opticians, and support staff to achieve individual and team goals.
• Conduct regular team meetings to keep the staff informed of store objectives, goals, and new products or promotions.
• Manage staff schedules, ensuring the store is adequately staffed during peak hours while staying within budgeted labor costs.
• Provide ongoing training and development for staff to ensure high product knowledge, customer service standards, and adherence to company policies.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
• Sales and Financial Performance:
• Meet or exceed store sales goals by actively driving sales, implementing effective merchandising strategies, and ensuring high conversion rates.
• Analyze daily sales reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas of improvement.
• Develop and execute sales strategies, promotional activities, and special events to boost store sales and customer engagement.
• Monitor product margins, inventory turnover, and other financial metrics to ensure the store is operating profitably.
• Customer Experience and Service Excellence:
• Ensure that every customer receives a high level of service and personalized attention throughout their shopping experience.
• Address customer complaints, concerns, and returns with professionalism, aiming to resolve issues quickly while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Foster a customer-centric environment where the team provides expert advice, eyewear fittings, and guidance on lens options, ensuring customers are fully satisfied with their purchases.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment that promotes a positive shopping experience.
• Inventory and Stock Management:
• Oversee inventory management, including receiving shipments, organizing stock, and ensuring that shelves are stocked with the correct product assortment.
• Perform regular inventory checks to minimize stock shortages, prevent overstocking, and manage product lifecycle.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to order new products, manage returns, and track stock levels.
• Ensure that eyewear products are displayed attractively and appropriately priced, in line with company guidelines and promotions.
• Visual Merchandising and Store Presentation:
• Maintain visually appealing store displays that showcase the latest eyewear trends and draw in customers.
• Oversee window displays and in-store promotions to keep the store environment fresh and aligned with the brand’s image.
• Ensure that all eyewear products are correctly tagged, priced, and organized according to store layout standards.
• Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
• Address operational challenges promptly, using strong problem-solving skills to implement effective solutions.
• Make decisions regarding staffing, inventory, customer service, and sales strategies to drive store performance.
• Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, resolving conflicts, and ensuring team alignment with store goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
