We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Commerce with a strong background in digital marketing and strategic leadership to drive the company's e-commerce growth. This role will play a critical part in shaping the direction of EZ-ACCESS’s online presence, customer experience, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will not only oversee day-to-day e-commerce operations but also take ownership of high-level strategic initiatives to expand our D2C business, enhance customer engagement, and optimize marketing investments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive D2C eCommerce strategy to drive growth, profitability, and customer engagement.
- Build channel differentiators that provide both brand and consumer value for shopping on the brand site.
- Leverage consumer insights, market trends, and data analytics to identify opportunities for innovation and expansion in the D2C space.
- Own and oversee the growth strategy for Amazon, Shopify, and additional digital sales channels to maximize revenue.
- Partner with senior leadership to set long-term revenue goals and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
Customer Experience & Site Merchandising
- Lead the vision and execution for site merchandising, ensuring a best-in-class user experience that drives conversion and brand affinity.
- Optimize navigation, search functionality, and product discovery to enhance the online shopping journey.
- Work cross-functionally with technology teams and external agencies to continuously improve the website’s functionality, appeal, and performance.
- Oversee the development and integration of new digital commerce technologies to enhance the customer journey and increase sales efficiency.
Performance Marketing & Retention
- Oversee performance marketing initiatives, including paid search, display, and social media campaigns, to maximize ROI and customer acquisition.
- Develop and manage email marketing strategies, focusing on segmentation, personalization, and automation to drive customer loyalty and retention.
- Create and scale loyalty programs that enhance customer lifetime value and align with brand values.
- Optimize marketing spend and budget allocation to ensure the highest return on investment across digital platforms.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing eCommerce team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Partner with supply chain, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of eCommerce initiatives.
- Serve as a key stakeholder in cross-functional projects to integrate eCommerce capabilities across the organization.
- Drive collaboration with retail partners and wholesale distribution to ensure omnichannel success.
Analytics & Reporting
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for eCommerce performance, including traffic, conversion, retention, and profitability.
- Utilize analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and customer engagement strategies, driving continuous improvement.
- Develop and oversee a testing roadmap, using A/B testing and other methodologies to refine digital marketing and eCommerce strategies.
- Present regular updates to senior leadership on D2C performance, insights, and strategic recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 7 years of experience in eCommerce, with at least 3 years in a D2C leadership role.
- Extensive experience managing and growing sales on Shopify, Amazon, and other marketplaces.
- Expertise in site merchandising, digital marketing, customer retention strategies, and loyalty program development.
- Strong analytical skills, with a history of leveraging data to drive decision-making and growth.
- Experience leading global teams and working across diverse markets and demographics.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and ROI optimization.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and align cross-functional teams.
- Passion for consumer trends and a deep understanding of the evolving D2C landscape.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
