Department Title: Undergrad Intern – Investment Portfolio Analytics Group
Location: The intern candidate must be able to commute into the New York City office each week.
Position Summary:
Our team focuses on identifying and correcting daily reconciliation issues on accounts by looking for outliers such pricing, positions, transactions, backdates, etc. We research issues and review / explain performance returns to Portfolio Managers and Investment Associates.
We’re responsible for providing ad-hoc and monthly performance returns to Portfolio Managers and Investment Associates, and run monthly / quarterly attribution to explain a return at the Industry / Market Cap level vs a benchmark. Our team also calculates quarterly marketable composite by investment Objectives and provides this data to Portfolio Managers for use when meeting with potential new clients.
Joining us this summer means helping with monthly SLA - delivering performance to our clients on time by Business Day 5. You will work closely with the Investment Management teams to help them maintain their current clients and attract new clients, and work closely with the investment management team on performance issues, reporting, project implementation of new accounts being converted from new companies being acquired.

We work as a close team with open communication. We’re always learning new ways to make work more efficient and hold regular team meetings, and meet with Investment Managers monthly.

Compensation Range: This is a full-time internship where students will work approximately 35 hours per week and earn competitive hourly pay of $31 USD per hour. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
