We are seeking a dependable and flexible Backup IT Technician to provide on-call support coverage following a 2-week onsite training period. This role will support asset management tasks, device reimaging, and general end-user IT support.
After training, the technician will be on call for coverage needs, including last-minute call-outs, pre-approved PTO, or extended leave coverage.

Training Period
- 2 weeks onsite (up to 8 hours/day, max 40 hours/week)
- Hands-on training with asset systems, imaging process, and onsite procedures
- Be available for on-site backup coverage as needed
- Perform device wipes, imaging, and asset inventory updates
- Provide general desktop support following established protocols
- Maintain clear documentation of all work completed
- Previous experience with imaging tools and asset management
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to respond to short-notice requests
- Professionalism and flexibility in a client-facing environment
- Maximum 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week
- Overtime must be pre-approved in writing
- Lunch breaks are unpaid
- No pay for holidays or days the client site is closed
