Desktop Refresh Project Tech - Louisville, KY
Start ASAP - 3 month assignment
Onsite Desktop Project Tech to work as part of a larger refresh project team.
The FE will complete the following work onsite :
o Gathering information from branch staff via phone calls or email
o Imaging desktops
o Creating windows profile
o Installing software
o Creating install tasks for the desktop so our CMDB stays accurate
o Packing up, and shipping out PC's to ADI branches
o Receiving shipments back from the ADI branches
o Receiving assets back into stockroom into our CMDB
o Finalize decommission of the asset
o Ship asset back to Dell.
Skill requirements would be :
- Basic desktop support knowledge for windows 10 / 11 so they can navigate accordingly.
- They do not need to be a desktop engineer, just basic computers skills.
- Office 365 knowledge
- OneDrive backup
- Much of what they will be doing on site will be directed by local tech for guidance.
- An SOP for build checklist, and decommission checklist will be provided on site
- Good communication skills as they would be interacting with our branch sales folks.
- Ability to lift 25lbs
