About the Role
As an Outreach Specialist, you'll be the heart of our community efforts, working on-site in DC and Maryland laundromats to connect with families and help them navigate essential services. This isn't just a job; it's a chance to build relationships, educate, and be part of a movement that's changing healthcare access for those who need it most.
What You'll Do
- Engage and Build Trust : Approach families in laundromats, strike up meaningful conversations, and create supportive connections.
- Educate on Public Benefits : Explain public benefits programs and eligibility, empowering families with the information they need to make informed choices.
- Understand Family Needs : Identify unique needs and help families access resources that support their well-being.
