Job Description
We are seeking a motivated IT Intern to join our team. This internship will provide valuable learning opportunities to work on real-world IT projects, support day-to-day operations, and assist in the development and maintenance of the firm’s IT infrastructure. You will work closely with our operations department to enhance your technical skills, gain exposure to software, and systems used in a dynamic engineering environment, and contribute to the firm’s overall IT operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of computer company infrastructure software.
- Support in managing and maintaining the company’s network and server infrastructure.
- Participate in software updates, system backups, and security monitoring.
- Assist with user support and resolve technical issues related to software and applications.
- Assist in the documentation of IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Contribute to IT projects such as system upgrades, cloud migrations, or software implementations.
- Ensure compliance with company IT security policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Current university junior enrolled in a Computer Science, Information Technology, or related degree program.
- Basic knowledge of computer networking and IT systems.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows) and common office software.
- Understanding basic cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Experience with database management or software development.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a strong willingness to learn.
