Our working environment is team-oriented and supportive; and we are looking to add an experienced, full-time HR Manager to join our administration team.
This newly created position will be filled by a dynamic individual who is willing to take a leading role in driving our employee relations and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a proven problem solver who has the ability to communicate effectively with employees across all levels of our organization including executive, supervisory, administrative, inspector and field technician staff. A background in creating a positive culture, hiring/recruiting, benefits administration, on-boarding/off-boarding, managing performance, safety and recordkeeping is a must. In addition to day-to-day tasks including compliance, documentation management, and assisting team members, our Human Resource Manager, will focus on the Key Objectives outlined below.
Key Objective 1 – Positive Employee Relations
· Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business objectives.
· Organize and implement performance management activities including stay interviews and performance discussions to ensure positive staff/management relationships are maintained and/or enhanced.
· Establish, implement and oversee methods to improve both inter and intra-departmental communication.
· Participate in employee relations functions such as addressing grievances, dispute resolution, discipline, communications and reward practices; works to ensure positive morale environment.
· Administers benefit programs by assisting employees in finding answers, provides census information to broker, conducts open enrollment.
· Arrange employee meetings with benefit providers and reporting
· Provide guidance to all levels of management and supervisory employees in the development and implementation of departmental goals supportive of the corporate vision; identifying benchmarks and resources needed to reach departmental goals.
· Assist leadership team in the articulation and dissemination of change initiatives for organization as a whole.
Key Objective 2 – Talent Management
· Design, develop and implement short-term and long-term recruitment strategies to ensure appropriate placements are made on a continual basis.
· Acts as recruiting agent. Liaison with staffing company and on your own to elevate qualified candidate proposals. Develop and place ads, conduct screening and interviews.
· Develop and implement comprehensive on-boarding initiative to ensure consistent message and training for all new employees to include company history, product line, customer base, vision, mission and values; company policies and workplace safety. Ensure new employee paperwork and training is completed, documented and stored.
· Manage employee retention by assessing skills, implementing appropriate training and providing career paths where possible, conducting employee surveys and recommending employment enrichment ideas to management.
Key Objective 3 – General HR Administration
· Direct, develop and implement corporate culture and employee relations programs and activities including, but not limited to reward and recognition, team building, conflict management and dispute resolution.
· Maintain employee benefits programs and inform employees of benefits; recommend benefit programs to management.
· Develop policies, processes and initiatives to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws.
· Utilize HR Online portal software to process payroll, maintain employee database and employment files, etc.
· Act as record keeper for all OSHA and safety related documentation.
· Enforce employee compliance testing for job training.
· Enforce employee inspections for Fleet and Equipment
· Works with Workers’ Compensation Insurance provider to manage W/C claims and Back to Work Programs
Key Objective 4 – Change Management
· Drive culture in change; instills focus on industry principles and practices.
· Provide guidance to all levels of management and supervisory employees in the development and implementation of departmental goals supportive of the corporate vision; identifying benchmarks and resources needed to reach departmental goals.
· Assist leadership team in the articulation and dissemination of change initiatives for organization.
· Provide counsel and guidance to individual employees as necessary.
Requirements:
· A bachelor’s degree in human resources is preferred and a minimum of 3 years of HR management experience.
· Exceptional organizational skills and high executive functioning.
· The ability to communicate effectively across all levels of staff.
· Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws and best practices.
· Experienced level in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
· Ability and willingness to work all assigned hours.
· Ability and willingness to travel to multiple states up to 30% of the time.
· Ability to carry out all daily responsibilities and key objectives listed above.
· Those with a PHR or SPHR certification will be given preference.

Salary: Starting salary range $75,000 - $100,000 with regular salary reviews beginning 6 months after hire and annually thereafter.
