Field Service Technician
Facility Concepts Inc., a growing manufacturer of commercial furniture, fixtures, and décor, is looking to hire a Field Technician to install our products and preform repairs/maintenance throughout the United States.
JOB SUMMARY
To travel to various sites throughout the US meeting with customers and performing new product installations and/or repairs. To deliver a high quality, professional representation of the company.
The following duties and responsibilities are indicative of the position but not limited to:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read and understand drawings and instructions.
- Must be able to preform basic carpentry type installation / repairs.
- Must be mechanically inclined and comfortable with tooling such as jig saws, power saws, core drills, etc.
- Perform field service installation / repair duties.
- Represent the company in a professional manner and follow company guidelines.
- Travel throughout the United States.
- Maintain company equipment and vehicles.
EXPECTATIONS:
- Minimum 2 years in a cabinet shop and/or carpentry construction
- Provide professional skills & flexibility to workflow based on project demands.
- Work well within a team setting by listening/sharing ideas and cross training.
- Makes effective use of all available resources when given a project.
- The successful candidate will be quick to develop relationships, analytical, work with a sense of urgency, maintain high ethical standards, demonstrates strong effort to eliminate waste, recognize and adjust to change & budget time wisely while maintaining a close watch on the detail work.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license as you will be driving the company vehicle.
- Able to travel a high percentage of time nationwide.
- Must be proficient with Smart Phones and Apps
- Must submit to a criminal background check and drug screen.
