Account Manager

As part of the Account Services team, you are the heartbeat behind the day-to-day success of the agency. You are able to help drive the creative process forward by ensuring client and internal meetings are set, and working closely with Project Management, ensure follow-ups are completed, and deadlines are met while beginning to build positive working relationships with clients and agency staff. You thrive in a team-oriented setting and are always looking to learn and grow. You love collaboration and always find a way to advocate what’s best for the client. Ultimately, you’re the tie that binds business, relationships and outcomes, and you take incredible pride in the collective impact we make for our clients.

We are open to candidates within commuting distance to Boulder or Kansas City, excited about collaborating in person two days per week in a hybrid working environment. We are not open to 100% remote candidates.

Day in the Life

• Support day-to-day operations and communications for Fact & Fiction’s agency projects, fostering relationships directly with clients and our agency team.
• Operate with excellence in a fast-paced environment
• Identify and understand a client’s business needs, industry and competition and care about them as if they were your own
• Champion and facilitate collaboration across disciplines within Fact & Fiction
• Be intimately involved in, and collaborate closely with Project Management, on all aspects of projects in order to remain a “step ahead” of the client and help ensure delivery of work that is on-brief, on-schedule and on-budget
• Help prepare for client meetings including status and presentations of Fact & Fiction’s work
• Ensure clear and comprehensive communication, including capturing meeting notes which are distributed to clients and agency partners as appropriate
• Draft scope documents upon client ask and identify proactive agency growth opportunities
• Work with others on the account team to prepare billing and monthly financial projections
• Initiate projects within Fact & Fiction and ensure that briefs, tasks and direction to the agency team is sufficiently detailed and clear
• Assist in the development of brand and business strategy by supporting planning discussions, participating in background research gathering
• Manage and support all agency client meetings including weekly client status and Creative Reviews
• Write meeting recap notes with input from team and distribute to client and internal teams

Here's what you need to get our attention

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Advertising, Communication or equivalent work experience
• 3 years experience in digital marketing or advertising
• Content and Production experience
• Ability to travel (up to 10%)

Base Salary: $60k-$75k DOE
