What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Support Technician position at FAIR FINTECH Inc.?
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to provide technical support for approximately 250 users and endpoints within an on-premises IT infrastructure. This role will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, hardware, and peripherals while supporting critical applications
Working under the direction of the IT Leadership, the ideal candidate should have strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work collaboratively with employees and department heads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer software, hardware, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues efficiently.
- Set up and deploy computers and office equipment for employees.
- Provide technical guidance and solutions to internal users.
- Maintain technical support documentation and reports.
- Manage user accounts, assist with password resets, and resolve login issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
✅ 3 years of experience in computer operations, troubleshooting, and system support.
✅ Knowledge of IT best practices, principles, and technical troubleshooting.
✅ Experience supporting desktops, laptops, and IT infrastructure.
✅ Ability to assist with computer re-imaging, configuration, and deployment.
✅ Strong communication and customer service skills to assist employees.
Preferred Qualifications:
⭐ Experience with user account creation and management.
⭐ Knowledge of enterprise IT environments is a plus.
⭐ Familiarity with remote access and security best practices.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $21.87 - $23.61 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
