About the Role
The Child/Adolescent Behavioral Health Center Clinical Lead supervises the daily activities of a clinical team, ensuring that delivered services meet the mission and vision of FHCHC and align with Patient-Centered Medical Home principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees admissions and discharges into services, empanelment of child clinicians, and co-signs all relevant documentation.
- Runs weekly group supervision for child behavioral health clinicians.
- Provides iterative feedback and yearly clinical evaluations to child behavioral health clinicians.
- Manages staff schedules for optimal utilization of staff time and ensures clinical coverage across sites.
- Monitors staff schedules when staff have time off to ensure appropriate clinical coverage.
- Conducts chart audits to ensure third-party payer compliance requirements are met.
- Provides ongoing advice, direction, and consultation to ensure work is performed according to established policies and compliant with oversight bodies.
- Demonstrates advanced Integrated Mental Health and Dual Disorders Treatment competencies.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a health and human services field.
- Five years' experience in a psychiatric or substance abuse setting.
- Minimum of one year supervisory/managerial experience strongly preferred.
- Current Connecticut professional licensure: LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Psy.D., Ph.D.
