About the Role
The Child/Adolescent Behavioral Health Clinical Lead plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet the mission and vision of Fair Haven Community Health Care. This position supervises the daily activities of the clinical team, ensuring that services align with Patient-Centered Medical Home principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Oversight: The Clinical Lead monitors admissions and discharges into services, empanelment of child clinicians, and co-signs documentation to ensure appropriate utilization of services.
- Staff Development: They run weekly group supervision for child behavioral health clinicians, offer iterative feedback, and conduct yearly clinical evaluations.
- Scheduling and Coverage: The Clinical Lead manages staff schedules for optimal utilization of staff time, ensures clinical coverage across sites, and monitors staff schedules during time off.
- Quality Improvement: Conducts chart audits to ensure compliance with third-party payer requirements and meets clinical goals.
Requirements
- Education: Master's Degree in a health and human services field.
- Experience: Five years' experience in a psychiatric or substance abuse setting, with minimum one year of supervisory/managerial experience.
- Licensure: Current Connecticut professional licensure: LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Psy.D., Ph.D.
- Preferred Qualification: Bilingual (English/Spanish).
