HEAD SUMMER CAMP COUNSELOR
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree, preferred
- Must be 18 years or older (MUST be fingerprinted by the State of New Jersey for the Fair Lawn Board of Education prior to the start date)
- Certified teacher preferred
- Strong instructional background
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate with staff, campers and parents
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with campers, staff and the camp community
- Ability to perform duties following all camp requirements and Board of Education policies
- Must be able to perform physical work which requires frequent bending and lifting
