The Fairfield Inn & Suites in Great Barrington is seeking a supervisor to join our award-winning guest service team! As the front desk supervisor, you will act as the ‘face’ of our company and ensure visitors receive a heartwarming welcome. You will coordinate all front desk activities, including calls, reservations and guest services. As a Front desk supervisor, you should combine a pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude to supervise and lead our team by example. Our ideal candidate can deal efficiently with complaints and has a solid customer service approach. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our front desk provides professional and friendly service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Train, supervise and support guest service agents
Handle customer requests and complaints timely and efficiently
Troubleshoot emergencies
Monitor stock and order office supplies
Ensure company’s policies and security requirements are met
Communicate with associates in and outside of your department
Skills:
Previous Hotel Experience
Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. computers, fax machines and printers)
Thorough knowledge of customer service and office management
Proficiency in English (oral and written)
Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
Excellent communication and people skills
Good organizational and multitasking abilities
Problem-solving skills
Requirements:
Must have reliable form of transportation
Non-smoking property / May not smoke during your shift
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds if needed
