ABOUT THE ROLE

The production sales staff working from the Cavco manufacturing facilities support and drive wholesale, helping to develop new accounts as well as provide ongoing account management to strengthen ongoing business relationships.

The Regional Sales Account Manager (RSM) is accountable for the management of specific ongoing accounts. He/she drives new sales through existing wholesale customers by ensuring they are satisfied with all aspects of Cavco's product offering and service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enter orders and/or make custom changes to existing orders per customers request
  • Take phone calls from retailers and answer questions and/or help them with requests
  • Travel is a must
  • Answer questions from production that may arise regarding units being built
  • Review and help maintain accuracy of all floor plan brochures
  • Order floor plan brochures and decor samples for retailers
  • Keep retailers informed of any product changes or necessary information by distributing product bulletins
  • Communicate off line dates and shipments to clients for all their homes
  • Demonstrate a good work ethic based on principles of honesty and integrity
  • Represents company at trade association conventions and expos to promote product
  • Performs prospecting efforts for new accounts in markets we do not have representation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 Years of relative work experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Deacom experience a plus
  • Strong understanding of Park Model design and space planning
  • Comprehension of Park Model building construction processes
  • Strong analytical aptitude
  • Problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues
  • Ability to be creative, strong presentation skills and a s self-starter
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Results oriented, attention to detail and good time management skills
  • Park Model/RV sales experience a plus
