Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration of the ServiceNow platform specifically within the Customer Service Management application.
- Execute necessary enhancements, upgrades, and maintenance on the platform to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to established best practices and standards as defined by agency protocols and FedRamp compliance.
- Process enhancement requests and develop functionalities on the CSM application utilized within the platform.
- Collaborate with developers to advance platform processes and functionality.
- Gather business requirements, analyze them, and transform them into comprehensive technical documentation and development tasks.
- Monitor application performance and conduct code analysis to ensure efficiency.
- Stay informed on advancements in the ServiceNow platform and leverage these changes to provide innovative business solutions.
- Construct user journeys and user stories for the design and configuration of Customer Service Management.
- Facilitate iterative configuration of the CSM application and actively engage stakeholders through joint design sessions.
- Proactively research and propose enhancements to ongoing engagements.
- Develop and implement fixes for identified bugs within the ServiceNow production environment for Customer Service Management.
- Execute data mapping and manage bulk data imports and updates as required.
- Proficient in ServiceNow’s CSM technology and administration.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, XML, and Web Services.
- Solid analytical skills necessary for translating business requirements into actionable technical documentation.
- Ability to monitor and enhance application performance effectively.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with various tools and data sources.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in CSM technology and ServiceNow administration.
- Proven track record in designing and deploying web-based self-service portals.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow forms, fields, views, UI policies, and client-side scripts.
- Experience working in the governmental sector (local, state, or federal).
