Key Responsibilities
- Identify and document key stakeholders, data flows, and current versus future state process flows.
- Gather, document, validate, and sustain business, functional, and technical/non-functional requirements essential for software procurement and solution development.
- Convert client system specifications into agile themes, product backlogs, and detailed requirements documentation.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and subject matter experts to refine user stories and define acceptance criteria.
- Verify that the developed functionalities meet the specified acceptance criteria by working closely with vendors or internal development teams.
- Participate in gap analysis and the development of detailed requirements.
- Aid the Business/Product Owner in orchestrating user acceptance testing, including the creation of test scenarios and cases.
- Conduct requirements traceability throughout the project’s lifecycle to support testing and production deployment.
- Support the creation of procurement documents such as Requests for Proposals and Requests for Information.
- Assist in evaluating vendor proposals and documenting the outcomes.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and conduct market research for potential automation projects.
- Facilitate meetings, particularly those focused on requirements gathering and user acceptance testing.
- Support the project manager in maintaining project documentation and status reports.
- Maintain SharePoint sites for each project assigned.
- Undertake additional analysis and project support tasks as required.
- Extensive knowledge of business system methodologies and software testing techniques.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and various development frameworks including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient communication and facilitation skills to effectively engage stakeholders.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in business analysis, particularly in software development contexts.
- Proven expertise in child support systems for at least 3 years.
