We are seeking a dedicated Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Richmond, VA. The selected candidate will play a critical role in managing network infrastructure while ensuring optimal performance and security across various network devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of firewalls, switches, and routers in both the main office and remote locations.
- Diagnose and resolve network performance and connectivity challenges.
- Implement network configuration modifications and software upgrades.
- Conduct tests and updates on network disaster recovery procedures.
- Address network security concerns, including Firewall, IPS threat detection, and VPN issues.
- Offer technical guidance and support to the Desktop Support team.
- Profound understanding of networking technologies, including OSI network layers and TCP/IP.
- Experience with firewalls, routers, switches, and overall network administration.
- Proficient in troubleshooting network performance and connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls, alongside experience in SDWAN.
- Knowledge in maintaining Wide and Local Area networks, including IPSEC and SSL VPN configurations.
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of four years of experience in Information Systems, particularly in Infrastructure Administration.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Cloud Infrastructure, and XAAS are preferred.
