Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the management and maintenance of firewalls, switches, and routers across main and remote offices.
- Diagnose and resolve network performance and connectivity issues.
- Implement and deploy network configuration changes and software upgrades.
- Conduct testing and updates of network disaster recovery protocols.
- Address network security issues, including firewall, IPS threat detection, and VPN problems.
- Provide expert technical guidance to the Desktop Support team.
- Exceptional proficiency in networking technologies, including knowledge of OSI network layers and TCP/IP.
- Familiarity with various networking devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls (Firepower and Meraki).
- Understanding of SDWAN, Citrix, VMWare, and SAN technologies.
- Competence in maintaining and monitoring both Wide Area Networks (WAN) and Local Area Networks (LAN).
- Practical knowledge of BGP & EIGRP support, IPSEC, and SSL VPN configurations.
- Proficiency in Layer 3 switching and VLAN configuration.
- Wireless maintenance and support experience (WCS).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Systems with a focus on Infrastructure Administration.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Cloud Infrastructure, or XAAS are preferred.
