Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert in collaboration with the Pharmacy Business team.
- Provide comprehensive support in the areas of Clinical policies and Prior Authorizations, Drug Utilization Review (DUR), and related processes.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including the PBM vendor, to facilitate the onboarding process.
- Assist the Pharmacy and Ancillary Services Business Unit in implementing the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program (MDRP) and related initiatives.
- Develop and document business processes, use cases, and testing scenarios to support Medicaid initiatives.
- Engage with multiple departments, including the DHHS Data Office and Policy Office, to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Extensive knowledge of Medicaid Pharmacy Benefits Management processes and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
- Capacity to translate business needs into detailed requirements.
- Experience in Medicaid, managed care, and Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) operations.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Prior experience in a similar role within the healthcare sector is essential.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with business process documentation and analysis is advantageous.
