Key Responsibilities
- Analyze intricate legacy program modules
- Code and test both new and existing modules
- Engage with web services via CICS Transaction Server (CTS) and/or CICS Transaction Gateway (CTG)
- Document processes and findings
- Collaborate with diverse teams across business, management, and IT sectors
- Utilize problem-solving skills to address complex issues
- Proven experience in programming methodologies and languages within a mainframe environment
- Strong knowledge of computer programming principles, testing, debugging, and documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, planning, and scheduling capabilities
- Experience in financial processes analysis and modification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), COBOL, CICS, TSO, MVS JCL, ENDEVOR, CA Tools, SQL, DB2, and VSAM
- Demonstrated experience in analysis and design
- Proven ability to work effectively within large project teams
- Self-starter capable of working both independently and collaboratively
- Prior experience with SSL and familiarity with state or county government processes is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required
