Job Overview

The Division of Health Benefits is actively seeking an Advanced Planning Writer to engage in the development of Advanced Planning Documents (APDs) and Medicaid Detail Budget Tables. This vital role offers the opportunity to work remotely for a one-year contract, where you will contribute to the NC Medicaid and the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) Program.

Key Responsibilities

• Author Advanced Planning Documents and Medicaid Detail Budget Tables
• Facilitate APD kickoff, review, and closeout meetings
• Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on NC FAST APDs
• Draft CMS submittal letters and ensure coherence across related aspects
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, project teams, vendors, and budget offices to produce comprehensive APDs supporting the NC Medicaid and MES Program
