Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders, including NC HealthConnex participants and representatives from the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
- Support project management efforts by ensuring quality service delivery aimed at enhancing population health outcomes across North Carolina.
- Analyze and document processes alongside requirement specifications, while developing clinical workflows that adhere to best practices.
- Maintain a focus on data quality management and validation throughout project execution.
- Expertise in clinical standardized coding systems such as CPT, LOINC, and ICD-10.
- Strong understanding of data quality best practices, governance, and security requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of health information exchange data standards and formats, particularly regarding Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Proficient in clinical data ETL techniques, data verification, and quality management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with non-technical clients.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance related to EHR/EMR systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools, including Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working with clinical standardized code systems.
- At least 6 years of experience in creating and maintaining SQL queries, BI dashboards, and various Microsoft Office documents.
