Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including NC HealthConnex participants and DHHS representatives, to develop and implement high-quality services.
- Support various Medicaid/HIE APD projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and scopes.
- Analyze, document, and enhance clinical workflows and requirements specifications to support effective project execution.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical data standards and Electronic Health Record (EHR) data architecture to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- In-depth knowledge of clinical standardized coding systems such as CPT, LOINC, and ICD-10.
- Strong understanding of data quality best practices, governance, and security measures.
- Proven expertise in health information exchange data standards and formats, including familiarity with EHR data architecture.
- Proficient in clinical data ETL techniques, data verification, and quality management.
- Excellent analytical skills for documenting processes and requirements.
- Strong communication abilities, capable of effectively engaging with non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance relevant to EHR and HIE systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with clinical standardized coding systems (CPT, LOINC, ICD-10).
- At least 6 years of experience in creating and maintaining SQL queries and BI dashboards.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as an effective team member on project teams.
- Relevant degree or certification in healthcare or information technology is preferred.
