Key Responsibilities
- Engage in business analysis and solution design to enhance NCDOT's Preconstruction business processes, integral to the Transportation Life Cycle.
- Define, prioritize, and manage SharePoint and web-based projects, ensuring effective content management and business process support.
- Translate design specifications into actionable user stories for the Development Team.
- Monitor project status, manage communication, and address dependencies to ensure successful completion of deliverables.
- Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) testing, coordinate test validation, and facilitate user training sessions.
- Develop training materials to support altered business processes and IT applications.
- Collaborate with clients to implement revised business processes and provide Quality Control for deliverables.
- Mentor team members and offer guidance on best practices.
- Proficient in designing SharePoint and web-based content solutions.
- Demonstrated expertise in Quality Assurance testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with AGILE software development practices and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Extensive experience in constructing custom Microsoft SharePoint lists, libraries, and content types.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in articulating complex business processes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and presentation skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Proven track record in evaluating and re-engineering business processes.
- Experience in drafting clear and concise technical training materials and user documentation.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in relevant fields.
- Experience as a SharePoint Business Analyst is preferred.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with NCDOT's Preconstruction and Transportation Life Cycle business processes is advantageous.
- Extensive experience with SharePoint Designer and Azure DevOps tool suite is a plus.
