Key Responsibilities
- Design SharePoint and web-based solutions to support valuable Preconstruction business processes.
- Translate design requirements into well-defined user stories for the Development Team.
- Prioritize and monitor progress on tasks and deliverables.
- Ensure timely and high-quality completion of work items, accompanied by comprehensive documentation.
- Document program and project deliverables as assigned.
- Collaborate with clients to implement re-engineered business processes.
- Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) testing for SharePoint and web-based content management deliverables.
- Develop and present training materials for modified business processes and IT applications.
- Assist clients in prototyping, refining, testing, and debugging applications to meet business requirements.
- Provide Quality Control for program and project outputs.
- Mentor and guide team members as necessary.
- Experience in designing SharePoint and web-based content solutions.
- Proven background in Quality Assurance testing.
- Familiarity with AGILE software development methodology and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in creating custom Microsoft SharePoint lists, libraries, and content types.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills.
- Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Experience in business process evaluation and re-engineering.
- Capable of producing clear technical training materials as a Business Analyst.
- A self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
- Familiar with NCDOT's Preconstruction business processes and Transportation Life Cycle.
- Extensive experience with SharePoint Designer or Owner roles.
- Knowledgeable in Azure DevOps tool suite and Balsamiq Wireframes.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in relevant fields, preferably as a SharePoint Business Analyst.
- Demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance testing.
