We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Programmer with expertise in C#, JAVA, and .NET Core to join our team in Raleigh, NC. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity that will allow you to engage in significant technical analysis and programming for the SOSKB Modernization project.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide complex technical analysis and programming for new and existing applications.
- Collaborate with the KB5 Modernization team to devise solutions for intricate technical challenges.
- Investigate, research, and implement advanced technologies to enhance system performance.
- Participate in new development projects, contributing to feature creation and system upgrades to meet modern coding standards.
- Interview stakeholders to identify business needs and refine workflows for efficiency.
- Develop and document software requirements and business rules.
- Create functional design specifications and user interface designs that adhere to established standards.
- Program applications based on specifications using C#, JAVA, .NET Core, and other industry-standard tools.
- Execute rigorous testing and debugging procedures to ensure software quality.
- Address software defects and enhancement requests through the department’s HelpDesk tracking system.
- Strong knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with client/server environments and project management principles.
- Proficiency in C#, JAVA, .NET Core, MS-SQL, XAML, WPF, .NetCore API, and .NetCore AspNet MVC.
- Ability to analyze existing applications and recommend process improvements.
- Demonstrated capability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Effective time management skills to meet project deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of one year of experience in business application consulting or development, or two years with an Associate degree.
- Proven experience in programming and project completion.
