Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of LIMS functionalities, requirements, and applications.
- Identify and document existing and future state business process workflows.
- Create essential documentation, including business object inventories, user stories, and wireframes.
- Assist in functional and integrated testing processes.
- Maintain and prepare project documentation, reports, and user manuals.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and end-users to align LIMS designs with business requirements.
- Provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, including the development of testing scenarios and cases.
- Document gap analysis and track the progress of deliverables in accordance with the approved project plan.
- Participate in PMO meetings and other related activities.
- Proven expertise in documenting functional requirements and technical specifications for both existing and new applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with team members and clients.
- Results-driven mindset with exceptional negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Competence in managing complex projects with competing timelines.
- Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project, with a strong understanding of SharePoint.
- Previous experience with Lab Information Management Systems (LIMS) or related health systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks.
- Significant experience in a business analyst role overseeing IT projects.
- A solid foundation in business analysis processes and documentation essentials.
