Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative ASP.NET Core web applications utilizing the .NET Core development stack.
- Engage with a codebase that has evolved through the contributions of multiple developers over time.
- Utilize industry-standard debugging tools, such as Visual Studio debugger and browser development tools, to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
- Implement GIT for source control management in a collaborative team environment.
- Enhance performance by optimizing complex SQL scripts.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with both business owners and team members.
- Document both existing and new application functionalities thoroughly.
- Strong programming expertise in languages including VB6, VBScript, C#, T-SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Proficient in ASP.NET development, encompassing both .NET Framework and .NET Core, with experience in Entity Framework and/or ADO.NET.
- Competent in using Visual Studio and SQL Management Studio as development environments.
- Solid grasp of design patterns and database normalization principles.
- Demonstrated experience in ETL processes and SQL Server tools, including Integration Services, BCP.exe, and T-SQL Bulk Load.
- Familiarity with scheduled job management using SQL Agent and Windows Scheduled Tasks.
- Proficient in client-side web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and libraries such as jQuery and React.
- Experience with Oracle APEX and PL/SQL is advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years of programming experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in application development.
