DIRECTOR OF NURSING
We are looking for an energetic, results orientated team leader with superior interpersonal and communication skills to exercise administrative and functional supervision over nursing personnel, as directed by the Administrator and Regional Administrator. The successful applicant will have strong leadership and supervisory skills, a rehabilitation focus, be challenged by high acuity residents and enjoy working with the elderly. Requirements include an unencumbered Missouri RN license, previous DON experience, knowledge of Medicare A&B, an excellent regulatory compliance record and a commitment to Total Quality Management. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility, & ADON or DON experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing staff and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Manage patient care quality and implement improvements in nursing practices.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing personnel, fostering a supportive work environment.
- Stay updated on Medicare policies and ensure proper billing and documentation practices.
