Job Summary
This role is responsible for the operation of Fairview Hospital's Engineering Department, Facilities Management, Security Department Environment of Care Program, and special projects. Plans, organizes, and controls the hospital's facility management function. Requires initiative, sound judgement, and the ability to act rapidly and decisively in critical situations. Creates and maintains an awareness of the concepts espoused by the departments whose goals are maximizing the utilization of manpower, supplies, and equipment while maintaining or improving quality.
Experience
- Three years previous progressively responsible management experience in facilities management, safety, and construction.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
License & Certifications
- Must possess valid drivers license with ability to obtain DOT medical card.
Additional Requirements
- Must have in-depth knowledge of Life Safety Codes, federal, state and local regulations.
- Must be able to read and interpret architectural prints and job specifications.
- Must possess excellent management and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess effective written and oral communication skills.
Schedule:
- Hours: 7:00am-4:30pm
- Monday-Friday
