Job Summary
The Rural Health Network Coordinator will apply independent judgment in providing day to day facilitation of activities and coordination of the Southern Berkshire County Health Planning Network (SBC HPN) members and supporters with minimal oversight. The Coordinator works closely with the SBC HPN Director and Leadership Team and will report on grant activities, including work plans, budget, outcomes. Other responsibilities include: scheduling, planning, and facilitating meetings of the network, maintaining ongoing communication among Network partners and members, representing the network among the Southern Berkshire community, managing the updated and more in-depth needs assessment, facilitating the development of a strategic plan for network partners, and working with outside technical assistance consultants to the Network.
Experience
- 2 years administrative experience is required. Proficient knowledge of community leaders, resources, and needs required. Excellent interpersonal skills required. Proficient use of Microsoft Office with the ability to learn other software programs including Care Director, Meditech, Allscripts, Polaris, and other data software systems is required.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in related field is required.
License & Certifications
- DRIVER - Driver's License
Additional Requirements
- Resident of the target community is preferred. Excellent communication (verbal and written), organization, administrative skills required. Proficient computer skills in word processing, database entry, spreadsheets, windows, etc is required. Able to work well independently as well as within a team setting. Must be willing to attend regional, state, or national meetings or conferences. Oversight of objectives and activities outlined in the SBC HPN grant.
