Child Care Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. You will implement educational activities that promote childhood development while fostering a love for learning. While experience is a benefit, it is not a requirement. Training will be provided.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Supervise children's activities to ensure safety and engagement.
• Provide care and support to children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a collaborative learning environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
• Monitor children's behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies as needed.
• Document children's progress and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Experience
Candidates should have:

• Previous experience in childcare settings such as daycare or nannying is a plus.
• Ability to work with children of varying abilities, including those with disabilities.
• The ability to engage children in meaningful activities.
• A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development in a supportive environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
