Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Pro Shop Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while managing the POS & will play a key role in enhancing the overall experience for our guests, ensuring they find the products they need and receive the highest level of service. You will also answer phone calls and check in guests playing golf.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Check in guests playing golf and be aware of the tee sheet throughout the day.
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including processing sales and handling cash.
- Promote and upsell products to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked inventory, ensuring that shelves are replenished and displays are appealing.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Keeping a look on the course and being aware of tee times rotating around, and making sure operations are running smoothly
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in retail or grocery store environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively.
- Sales experience, particularly in upselling techniques, is highly desirable.
- Ability to supervise cart attendant staff and be aware of outside course environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and staff efficiently.
Requirement: MUST be 18 or older
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
