What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Administrative Assistant position at Family First Urgent Care?
Job Purpose
Responsible for performing any administrative duties such as assisting with mail, scanning, printing HCFA forms, obtaining EOBs, medical records, and any other items the office deems appropriate.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow office systems and filing procedures to ensure all print and digital documents are organized .
- Responsible for opening and sorting mail by Tax ID.
- Scanning in all bills for review by the Accounting Firm.
- Prepare cover sheets of all mailed check's to be verified by the posting team .
- Printing HCFA forms.
- Send faxes and emails.
- Manage documents and files.
- Mailing Workers Compensation HCFA forms from Post Office.
- Picking up daily work from 2 local clinics.
- Assisting with bank deposits.
- Perform multifaceted general office support.
- Any other projects or items ot mentioned in the above list but necessary to assist the team.
- Personal ongoing development.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- independently and with the public in a high-pressure environment.
- Full comprehension of office management systems.
- Computer skills and tying accuracy.
- Excellent Knowledge of MS Office..
- Exemplary planning and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
- High level verbal and written communications skills.
- Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal communications skills.
