General Description:
This is a great position for anyone seeking flexibility in their work day.
The hours for this position are : 6:30 am -9:30 am (sometimes you may need to stay until 10:00 am... and then returning at 2:30pm until 5:30 or 6:00pm.
Program Assistants are responsible for assisting the program managers in creating and maintaining a safe, educational, developmentally appropriate, and nurturing environment for children and a welcoming attitude towards parents.
Qualifications:
Program Assistants must be at least 17 years old and working towards a High School Diploma/GED. Own reliable transportation is required. CPR/First Aid is not required but is helpful.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the teacher in implementing a safe, educational, developmentally appropriate, and nurturing environment for children
- Participate in the general functioning of the complete childcare program.
