Key Responsibilities:
- Strength: Hoyer Lift experience needed.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, encouraging social interaction and independence.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe home environment.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring clients receive nutritious meals.
- Support individuals with autism and other special needs in their daily activities.
- Safely lift and transfer clients as needed, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Respect and uphold resident rights and dignity at all times.
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed by the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) as a Home Care Aide.
- Completion of 2 hours of operational training and 3 hours of mandatory online training.
- Current TB test on file.
- Valid California Driver’s License and proof of auto insurance.
- Previous experience in home care, nursing homes, or similar settings is highly desirable.
- A compassionate and patient demeanor with excellent communication skills.
