Key Responsibilities:

• Strength: Hoyer Lift experience needed.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, encouraging social interaction and independence.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe home environment.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring clients receive nutritious meals.
• Support individuals with autism and other special needs in their daily activities.
• Safely lift and transfer clients as needed, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Respect and uphold resident rights and dignity at all times.

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed by the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) as a Home Care Aide.
• Completion of 2 hours of operational training and 3 hours of mandatory online training.
• Current TB test on file.
• Valid California Driver’s License and proof of auto insurance.
• Previous experience in home care, nursing homes, or similar settings is highly desirable.
• A compassionate and patient demeanor with excellent communication skills.
