American Golf Corporation (AGC) is seeking a Senior Accountant to support our accounting operations.
Responsibilities
- General Accounting: Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash, fixed assets, and accruals.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Audit Support: Support the external audit process.
- Month-end close process: Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Internal controls: Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.
- Tax Support: Monitor compliance with applicable tax regulations and assist in tax filing preparations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement new systems that increase accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and basic financial reporting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- CPA Preferred
