What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merchandise Management Internship- 2025 Summer position at Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks?
RedHawks Summer Internship:
The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and hard-working individuals to join our front office team in the 2025 season! This position would work within the merchandise department.
Internships can be done for college credit and are paid positions. Housing is available. Positions run from May 2025 to September 2025 (some flexibility for school schedule available).
Merchandise Management Internship Role:
Merchandise management interns work directly with the Merchandise Director and serve as the direct gameday management of the RedHawks team store. Responsibilities include:
- Directly managing gamedays sales (every other game) in the RedHawks team store including but not limited to: operating cash draw and point of sales system, stocking floor, organizing displays, and refilling product
- Keeping track of inventory and continually fix store displays to match any promotions, theme nights, or seasonal needs of fans
- Handle online transactions and mailing/packaging of online orders
Merchandise interns will work in the team store on a rotating basis and when not in the store will directly help in other departments such as ticketing, hospitality, groups, and production.
Qualifications:
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, demonstrate excellent follow-through, and have self-starting ability
- Must be able to work nights and weekend and able to commit to the entire RedHawks season
- Must be willing to work extended hours
- Ability to work in a team setting while maintaining a positive attitude
