We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our team of face-to-face canvassers as they work to secure access to food, medical care, and educational support for children in poverty around the world.
Farmer’s Consulting partners with non-profit organizations and charities to help them build awareness and reach their fundraising goals. Our charity partners are fighting to end childhood hunger in America and worldwide, protect our environment, defend refugees, and more.
This position is a street/public fundraising/canvassing position. Successful canvassers are comfortable striking up conversations and building rapport with the public as they inspire individuals to take action for children around the world.
Position Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the campaign’s success by achieving daily fundraising goals.
- Engage the public, motivating and inspiring them to become sustaining donors.
- Process donations in a precise manner, ensuring accurate recording of donor contact and payment details.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work evenings and weekends. Saturday availability required.
- Ability to engage the public in a friendly manner.
- Able to work outside in various weather conditions.
- Ability to stand for 4-8 hrs/day.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous sales or customer service experience preferred, or other experience/ability to engage the public on a regular basis.
