Farmington Country Club seeks a highly motivated Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator to join our collaborative HR team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coordinating recruitment efforts and providing an exceptional onboarding experience. This role supports the recruitment and onboarding process for salaried, exempt, and management positions, while assisting hiring managers with hourly recruitment coordination. The role also includes key administrative support, pre-employment compliance, and ensuring an inclusive and organized onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition (Recruitment Coordination)
Candidate Sourcing and Recruitment Support:
- Post job openings to relevant job boards and internal communication channels.
- Manage applicant flow and track candidates using the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Screen applications and conduct initial prescreening calls for exempt and management roles to assess qualifications.
- Assist hiring leads for hourly roles by providing recruitment tools such as prescreening templates and scheduling support.
Interview Coordination:
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates, ensuring timely and clear communication.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate progress and outcomes.
Onboarding Administration and Support
Pre-Employment and Compliance:
- Facilitate pre-employment tasks such as background checks, reference checks, and I-9 verification.
- Ensure new hire documentation is complete and compliant with organizational standards.
New Hire Preparation:
- Prepare and distribute new hire materials, including welcome packets, nametags, and uniform requests.
- Coordinate first-day logistics, ensuring schedules and workspaces are ready.
New Hire Orientation:
- Facilitate new hire orientation sessions, introducing organizational policies, procedures, and core values.
- Ensure orientation is welcoming and inclusive, promoting a sense of belonging.
Collaboration and Administrative Support
Department Coordination:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and clarify job expectations.
- Assist department leads in updating job descriptions and onboarding templates.
Process Improvement:
- Track key onboarding and recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, retention feedback).
- Incorporate feedback to streamline administrative workflows and improve candidate and new hire experiences.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in recruiting, onboarding, or a related HR function.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to support multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR platforms.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications
