Description
Responsible for delivering consistent, high quality service to our members and their guests in a friendly, professional and efficient manner. Provide clear communication with service team and the kitchen expo. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the runner line and storage areas. Deliver food from kitchen to dining areas in two minutes or less upscale dining restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Follow staff checklists for opening, side-work, and closing duties
- Be knowledgeable about menu items, table numbers and position numbers
- Maintain kitchen standards and consistencies in plating and delivery
- Answer questions from the expo about tickets and find the appropriate service staff to maintain the appropriate pace of service
- Lift and carry up to 30 lbs on large oval trays
- Serve up to 3 plates or dishes to the table according to the way they are presented by the expo; coordinate additional staff to assist in food delivery when needed
- Ensure proper delivery of food to the correct diner and assist with additional requests
- Assist in running drinks from the bar
- Communicate and assist other Floor Teammates. Assume busser or host duties as needed
- Assist the culinary staff as requested
- Attend staff pre-shift meetings and staff trainings
- Complete other assigned duties thoroughly and in a timely manner
- Advise managers of member concerns and suggestions
- Follow Club and department safety and sanitation procedures
- Be well-informed about club activities; answer questions knowledgeably and professionally
Qualifications
- A minimum of three months of similar food service experience in a restaurant, resort, hotel, or club environment preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
