About the Opportunity
We are looking for a resourceful and detailed Luxury Procurement Specialist to join our procurement team at our beautiful facility here in Chelsea, NY. In this role you will be trained to evaluate and appraise luxury pre-owned handbags and accessories (Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, etc.) from clients online. Responsibilities include:
- Research brand, style, and resale value of pre-owned luxury handbags and accessories
- Assess demand and analyze internal and external sales data to provide accurate and timely quotes to online customers
- Review items in person, including the condition and brand-specific information
- Develop personal strategies for research methods, focusing on efficiency and accuracy
What We’re Looking For
- Strong research abilities and extreme attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communication
- Proficient typing skills (30 wpm )
- Proactive spirit and wiliness to learn, grow and cross-train departments
- Comfortable working in a corporate office setting, sitting for long periods of time at a computer (8 hours per day)
- Ability to work well both independently and in a collaborative environment
- Previous experience in retail, luxury fashion a PLUS

Pay Rate: This position begins at $24.00/HR for all new hires into FASHIONPHILE's Chelsea, NY location. Every Employee will have the opportunity for continued promotional opportunities via our Benchmarking Program which offers Title and Pay changes as you grow with the company.
