What are the responsibilities and job description for the Primary Care Provider position at Fast Pace Health?
As a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Fast Pace Health, you will lead clinic staff in delivering excellent patient care, providing guidance and ensuring quality professional services and patient satisfaction. You will also maintain behavior compliant with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including working knowledge of all health information management issues such as HIPAA.
Key Responsibilities
- Order, perform, or interpret the results of diagnostic tests, responsibly prescribe medications, and educate patients on continued treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions.
- Perform therapeutic procedures, including I&D, splinting, suturing, managing infection, and wound care.
- Consult with patients through virtual communication channels and demonstrate proven experience working as a Telehealth Clinician.
- Engage with Learning and Development to manage onboarding and training of new employees, meet new employees on their first day, and facilitate welcome and introductions, facility tours, and clinic process overview.
For this role, we require at least 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice, such as Urgent Care or Occupational Medical Facility, ER or Trauma Unit, Family Medical Practice. A Master's Degree in Nursing is preferred, along with a Family Nurse Practitioner License or Physicians Assistant License.
