Position Overview :

The Business Development Consultant will be critical in driving strategic partnerships and pilot programs for FastSensor's retail and multi-brand retail products. This role focuses on identifying, qualifying and refining partner opportunities and nurturing key relationships with strategic partners for long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead Generation & Outreach : Identify, research, and contact potential partners, retailers, and integrators to create collaboration opportunities.
  • Partnership Development : Collaborate with current partners and explore and manage new partnership opportunities.
  • Pilot Program Support : Assist in launching pilot programs with mid-sized retail chains and ensure actionable insights are delivered. Refine and document process to eventually become a Sales led product.
  • Pipeline Management : Maintain a healthy partner opportunity pipeline, tracking interactions and opportunities in CRM systems.
  • Strategic Alignment : Work closely with the EVP of Business Development to align outreach efforts with FastSensor's long-term goals.
  • Collaboration : Partner with Sales, Operations, and Marketing teams to support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Market Research : Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Key Objectives (KPIs) :

  • Activate at least one Proof of Concept (PoC) with each strategic partner by June 2025.
  • Formalize partnerships with at least one multi-brand retailer by the end of the year.
  • Support the BD team in achieving growth objectives through strategic alliances.
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in consulting, banking, business development, strategic sales, alliances or partnership roles.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a dynamic environment.
  • Creativity and the ability to understand incentive stories.
  • Passion for retail analytics and innovative technology solutions.
